December 11, 2007Sun and Wyclef have performed in ROXY club. Wyclef was invited by MySpace.com and VIBE to perform in ROXY club. He was there to sing his latest album Carnival Vol II: Memoirs of an Immigrant. Sun was the special guest and they did China Wine together and rocked the whole house!! Sun will soon be touring. It will be Jan and Feb of 2008.
Snow Flurries arrives! Sun Ho in America
December 10, 2007Here comes the snow flurries! It was the first time for Sun to see snow, as a 100% singaporean she was super excited and in just within minutes the place is freezing. I will be so excited to see snow too, I have never experience it before.

- “Global Chinese Music Awards 2006
On October 28, 2006, Ho’s Chinese ballad, “Across The Ocean” was awarded the “Top 20 Most Popular Hit Of The Year 2006” at the 6th Global Chinese Music Awards held in Singapore that year. This is an annual music ceremony organized by seven main Chinese radio stations in various parts of Asia.
- “Leader Mentor 2004” Award
On October 29, 2004, Ho was presented the “Leader Mentor 2004” Award at the 2nd Global Leadership and Mentoring Congress for her social works in Singapore.
- Singapore Hit Awards 2004
On September 10, 2004, Ho was presented the “Best Selling Female Artiste of the Year” at the Singapore Hit Awards organized by the Recording Industry Association of Singapore (RIAS) and Singapore’s radio station YES933! FM.
- Malaysia Hit Awards 2003
On November 15, 2003, Ho was presented the “Outstanding Female Stage Showmanship” at the Malaysia Hit Awards held at Genting Highlands. This event was organized by the Recording Industry Association of Malaysia (RIM).
- “The Outstanding Young Person of the World 2003” Award
On November 6, 2003, Ho was among 10 international nominees to be presented “The Outstanding Young Person of the World 2003” Award for her social work in Asia. The ceremony was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, under the auspices of Junior Chamber International. Ho is the fourth Asian celebrity to receive the award after Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau and Michelle Yeoh.
- Singapore Hit Awards 2003
On September 6, 2003, Ho was presented the “Best Selling Female Artiste of the Year” and the “Best Selling Album of the Year” at the Singapore Hit Awards organized by the Recording Industry Association of Singapore (RIAS) and Singapore’s radio station FM93.3.
- Hong Kong Metro Music Awards 2003
On August 3, 2003, Ho was presented the “Best Female Newcomer 2003” by the Hong Kong Metro Radio Station’s inaugural Music Awards. More than 10,000 fans were at the Hong Kong Coliseum to watch her and other singers performed.
- “The Outstanding Young Person of Singapore 2002” Award
On October 5, 2002, in recognition of Ho’s contributions to social work, the Junior Chamber of Singapore awarded her with “The Outstanding Young Person 2002.”
Sun Ho Biography
December 7, 2007Sun is the only Asian singer to top the US Billboard Dance Chart and the UK MusicWeek Chart. She is the first Chinese pop singer to be invited to the 46th Annual Grammy Awards 2004 and to present at the American Dancestar Music Awards 2004. She is also the first Asian pop singer to be invited to the Hollywood Film Festival 2003. It all started when her debut American single “Where Did Love Go” reached #1 on the Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play “Breakout” Chart for the week ending December 22, 2003. Subsequently, three of her singles, “One With You,” “Without Love” and “Gone” have reached #1 positions on the Billboard Dance Chart and four of her singles, “One With You,” “Without Love,” “Ends Of The Earth” and “Gone” have reached #1 positions on the UK MusicWeek Chart.
Sun holds an M.A. degree in Counseling, and worked as a counselor for troubled teens from 1996 to 2001. Since establishing her career as a pop artist in April 2002, she has been involved in raising funds for various charitable organisations. Her humanitarian team had been involved in the Tsunami Disaster Relief Operations (2005), the building of schools, and medical clinics in Indonesia and China. Sun was awarded the “TOYP of Singapore 2002” Award and “TOYP of the World 2003” organized by the the Junior Chamber International1 for her social and community work.
In July 2005, Sun opened a streetwear boutique, SKIN Couture, at The Marina Square (Singapore), which carries trendy apparels and accessories from American labels such as True Religion, Antik Denim, Bejeweled, etc. She opened her second store on October 2006 at The Heeren Shops (Singapore) carrying Japanese labels like Queen Of A Luxury Lover, Double Standard, Chelseagarb, etc. Sun and her SKIN partners acquired exclusive distribution for Ed Hardy in Singapore, and opened its first flagship store in Asia at The Heeren Shops (Singapore) on October 29, 2005.
Currently Sun resides in the USA, and travels often to Taiwan and China.
